So I found on eBay a pre-order for the Apple iPhone 4GB Selling for $1,425. Right. An Apple iPhone 4GB preorder is selling for a whopping $1,425 on eBay. Would you trust this seller?

By the way, it’s funny how rumors about this stuff spreads. I posted such a rumor about Apples interest in producing such a gadget around seven months agao, (as was everyone else).

Outlook 2007 – Breaks HTML Email Rendering

Looks like this isn’t a boon for HTML emails, Microsoft has removed the Internet Explorer rendering engine in Outlook, the one that was used to display HTML email, and replaced it with Word HTML. This means that HTML email support in Outlook 2007, from the upcoming Office 2007 release, will offer very limited HTML email support.

Adobe Flash Player – Version Penetration

Though it seems odd to say, “Adobe Flash Player,” Adobe has just released a fresh crop of statistics on Adobe Flash Player Version Penetration, it’s a great reference to see which player versions are most common throughout the world. This could also be useful to let clients know which player is more common for their region of the world, but I’d always recommend that you check your clients’ web traffic statistics to see what their users have installed before you tout this as the end all reference of which Flash version should be used during the development process. Nokia Releases S60 Apache Web Server Port under Open Source

nokia-apache-s60-open-source.jpgNokia released the S60 web browser under open source last week. Nokia just told me that they now also released a Symbian port of the Apache web server under open source.

Running an Apache web server on your Nokia phone is a cool thought. There could be many applications for this. Besides the http server, Nokia also released a gateway solution that actually makes it possible to address a mobile phone via a URL. Nokia also ported Phyton to Symbian S60.
